ive got a 01 blazer ls and my 4 wheel drive isnt working. When i go to engage the 4 wheel i hear the electic motor working but it doesnt spin the front tires and when i engage the 4 low i feel it clunck into 4 wheel but still the front tires dont spin any ideas on wtf that might be?

do you here a click from passenger side floor board? does you actuator under the battier hold a vacuum? are there holes in your lines? are the fuses good? those are good thing to start to check first.
but from what i gather it will not stay in 4wd. that is a big thing around. search it . and if your search does not turn up any thing search on google hope any of this helps |

yea its deff. the vacuum actuator....i guarantee it.

cool thats a huge start but i was messin around with it today and it was engaging some times but not all the time so i think it is a vacuum leak ill crall under it and check the lines

no you don't need to crawl under...remove battery, battery tray and its on the left....a vacuum line leads to it...see if the rubber is tore. if so replace it...if not still replace it...they have a habit of failing when you need it most

yeah there was some lines ripped apart from dry rot now its cruzin through mud
