4x4 issues
i have recently acquired a 95 jimmy a couple of months ago. the 4x4 worked when i got it, then one day i was messing around with it, got it stuck in 4 hi for about an hour, then it finally switched back to 2 hi. now i only have 2 hi and 4 lo. when i hit the 4 hi button nothing happens. when i have it in neutral and switch to 4 low, both 4x4 lights flash, then it switches to 4 lo. when in 4 lo, both lights for the 4x4 are lit up. when i switch back to 2 hi, it just switches. i've chanded the TCCM and that wasn't the problem. if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. i've been seeing that this is kind of a common problem.

Re: 4x4 issues
might be the switch.
but sounds like the encoder motor. remove the 4x4 fuse and wait 20min....reinstall fuse. if it works for a bit then your encoder motor is bad. |
