4HI issues

My 95 Blazer will go into 4HI if I take the negative battery cable off for a second and put it back on,after that I can put it in 4HI. The next day the process starts all over again.For instance,if I want to use the 4HI (for a day)I must do the battery cable trick,the next day 4HI will not work.What the hell is wrong with this thing ?????????

mine is doing pretty much the same thing. ive had people tell me its the encoder motor on the transfer case and others say its the tccm in the dash both pretty pricy parts to be throwning money at
