4/4 with 20s
So I'm wanting to go 4/4 on my 2 dr jimmy with 20s but really have no idea what size tires I should go with.. I'm not a big fan of wheel gap.. haha. I came from the import world and somehow wound up with a jimmy so you guys'll have to help me on this one!

Re: 4/4 with 20s
I had some 20" coys with 345/40/20's. They fit perfect, but the backspacing was wrong on the wheels so they rubbed, but looked perfect.
255/35's are also a safe, but but don't offer as much wheel protection |

Re: 4/4 with 20s
now i am 2 feet LOL so i am doing the belltech lowering kit on my jimmy 4 door 4X4 and i am doing 20s with 245/45/20 rubberhere is a good tire size calculator all you do is put in the factory size and you can play with the numbers to find the best fit. the size i chose keeps the same speedo reading and overall diameter but are a little wider http://www.carmodifier.com/default.a...ntreCalculator hope this helps |

Re: 4/4 with 20s
Tire size calculator:
i.e. 245/40/20 245x40=9800 9800/2540=3.858 total sidewall height 3.858x2=7.716 total of both sidewall heights 7.716+20=27.716 total overall height not on vehicle 27.716/2=13.858 total height from center of hub to top of tire. What year is your jimmy? Don't drop a 4wd please. I mean please don't, it's just unpatriotic Last edited by ZQ8 Blazer : 04-12-2008 at 04:54 PM. |
