2k1 mirror wiring
Ok I got new repro mirrors for my truck, but since the wiring harness was hacked apart by the previous owner I have no clue how or where to wire this up.... I have searched what I can get my hands on, however All I see is the color codes for my 95... as I am going to rebuild this portion of the wiring harness I really just need to know what goes to where.
here's what I got on the MOLEX coming off the mirror.. Drivers side Molex A - Black B -- C - Yellow D - Green E - White F&G -- H - Black J&K -- Passenger side Molex A - Black B -- C - Yellow D - Purple E - Red FG -- H - Black JK -- As I said, Just need to know what goes to what motor and what goes to the heater element.... Much appreciated for the help |

Re: 2k1 mirror wiring
I wonder if its the same wire colors as my 98. I switched to the 99+ mirrors on the Blazer.

Re: 2k1 mirror wiring
Truck side... the past owner took out the originals and bondo'ed over the switch. so he could have some un powered cheap M3 mirrors... he cut the wiring harness back under the dash somewhere, and ran all of his own wires so he could have his window switches in the center council, so most of the wiring harness that goes through the door jam's is trashed if not completely gone...
he did such a poor job at wiring the m3's that it continualy blew the flasher unit before I cut the wires.... I had let them be but my SO wants to have powered mirrors... so now this is the headache I get to deal with. ![]() |
