2dr rear window trim

ok has any one tried this stuff on the rear window trim to help make it look nice and shiney again?



i saw it at walmart the other day. im just wondering what else is out there if anything to get rid of some of the fadding and all that good stuff mine are not looking to good.

looks like it should. my window trim is all sun faded and cracked all over the top and i gotta find out how to fix that.

but the picture shows an s10 wheel so it must be good.

Just color match it. Or paint if gloss black. your're probably going to have to sand, fill, prime and paint but it's definately worth it.

yeah im just trying to make what i have look better. not going to go all out. lol i may not be the smartest person around but i kinda had a slight hunch that it wasnt going to fill in any of the pitted surfaces on them.

Try using a Spray on Primer... to fill in any Pitted Spots... sand it down... and then paint it... Thatz what i did... and it worked pretty well... not perfect... needed to be filled a little more... but more primer would've done that... but otherwise itz better than before...

Coloring it black won't fix it. To fix it properly you can prime it using a flex additive, sand it down and paint using a flex additive. It's not any different to fix it than it would be to fix a urethane bumper. Makes for a good winter project. And with being fixed and painted, will last longer than the plastic being exposed to UV light.
