2dr blazer drop

I'm gonna order my spindles for the front but i have a few ?'s. If i do spindles up front do I have to get shorter shocks for the front?? plus I'm not quite sure what I want to do for the back yet. How do you guys like the belltech drop leafs?? Would I be better of just doing 3 inch blocks?? and if I do do the blocks am i gonnna need shorter shocks??
Thanks Dan

no you will not need shorter shocks for spindles. all your doing with spindles is moving the hub mounting spot up 2". nothing with the spring is being changed.

and when i first dropped my blazer 3/3 i did a 3" block cause i didnt want to spend much money. i have belltech leafs and they dont ride bad. i would get leafs though. you will need shorter shocks for drop leafs. but if you do blocks, your just pushing the rear end up 3" and the shock mounting position isnt moving.

Re: 2dr blazer drop

you dont NEED shocks when you do the drop but they are always a good thing to upgrade at the same time. Due to the lower susp. travel after you drop it, they will help out with the ride within the lower travel range.

A good place to get some very useful drop stuff is in the static drop section. Run a couple searches in there and you can find a ton of info about whatever you want to know.
