2001 GMC Jimmy Dash Kit

I am looking to put in a 1 din Avic-N2 in my Jimmy, but I dont know much about car audio. I was looking on Scosche.com, trying to see which dash kit I needed, and couldn't figure it out. They have like 4 of them for the 2001 GMC Jimmy. I want a kit that includes everything I need to install my Pioneer. Can somebody point me in the direction of which one I need? Also, do I need a wiring harness? If so, can I use the one from Scosche? And, is there a website that shows how to take the dash apart so that I can get to the radio? Is there anything else I would need to get my head unit installed? Thanks for your help.

wherever you buy the deck from, they will have what you need. scoche should make everything also. just to answer your question.

Its for a double DIN.But they make them for your year and 1.5 din with a pocket.

I can fit a 2-Din in my 01 Jimmy? Would their be any cutting required, or would it just slide in? I was also looking at the Eclipse AVN5435, but I thought I could only fit 1.5 din.

No.Dash opening is too small.My 02 had the double DIN In-dash changer.

I was just showing the install kit.They make on just like it for the 1.5 DIN's.
