2000 Jimmy turn signal bulb repalcement

2000 Jimmy here. I had a front turn signal go out & thought I'd swap the bad bulb out in the parking lot of the auto parts store. To my suprise, it looks like I need to take the whole headlight assembly out to access the bulbs. It looks like the assembly is held in by two hex type pins mounted at 90* angles. Am I even close? Is their an easier way of replacing a burnt out turn signal bulb on these cars?

easy to fall out maybe but a pain to reinstall, I recently replaced my entire headlight assembly and the tabs that hold it arent in the radiator...back of assembly :-D
