Anyone have any experience replacing the heater core in a 2000 Blazer? Any tips/tricks or special tools needed? How long did it take? It's not mine, it's a friend's (only) car.

I just installed it yesterday, it took me about 7 hours. Here's some more info I found for anyone else who will be replacing theirs.

if you would have posted this up last week i would have told my buddy to sell his before i did it... what a pain... i didnt do the trick with cutting into the a/c box but man i wish i would have... lol.. all i got to do now if figure out why i cant switch anything... its on defrost,floor,and vent all the time.. hes not really to concerned about it but im anal like that.. if it worked before i touch it i have to make it work after i touch it..lol
