Question 2 Door read head rests

How do you remove them? The drivers side kinda makes the blind spot worse. Thanks for any help.

They will stay flipped back with seat upright.

Re: 2 Door read head rests

Yeah, they should stay folded back with the seat upright....... I just fold my seats all the way down and bring em right back up, then the headrest stays back until you pull forward...

Not sure how to remove em, would probably have to get into the seat somehow

Re: 2 Door read head rests

i know they stay flipped forward with the seat upright but the drivers side rear seat has the spare tire right behind it and it has to be flipped up or the seat wont lock back in place

Re: 2 Door read head rests

all you need to do is get a flathead screwdriver, split open and follow the pole down, find the U-shaped pin and pop it out for each pole, headrest slides out like butter after that.

Re: 2 Door read head rests

Removed yesterday...
night and day difference in seeing out the rear window. Now I just need to build a sub box with a false bottom for the spare, and I will get rid of that unsightly spare on the side.
