Hey guys. Me and my dad just tested to see how fast his 1997 chevrolet blazer would take to go from 0 to 60. This was on the streets and we found out that it takes his 4.3l v-6 195 horsepower with 250 torque 12.06 seconds to go from 0 to 60. He has a cold air intake so i dont know if thats added horsepower and added torque. Is that good for a stock truck? i mean i see cars that go 7 seconds in a quarter mile lol and what could we get to reduce the time from 0 to 60. Also 2 side notes. The car sounded sweet when the pedal was on the floor lol and when it switched from 1st gear to 2nd gear it was very slow. It went to 2nd at 50 mph and while changing it stayed at 50 mph for like 1 to 2 seconds until accelerating more. How could we get that to improve? because i swear if the car didnt take so long to change gears it couldve probably shaved the time down to 10 seconds

Youre timing somethign wrong. There is no way its that slow. Hell I have a 95 Jimmy with a 4.3 and its not that slow.
