1996 jimmy grille guard

jc whitney has grille guards for 95-97 blazers (the cheaper grille guards, not the $600 ones) but for some reason not the jimmys. is there something really different that would make the blazer guard not fit on my jimmy? i ordered one anyways figuring I own a cutting torch and a DC welder, i could modify it to fit if I must. just wondering why they wouldnt list one for the jimmy but they do for a blazer (and it's not just because they only did the chevy models, they listed other year jimmys too)

blazer/jimmy/bravada/s10/sonoma front ends are all the same (with minor grille difference)... So even if if says made for a blazer, it will mount up to the jimmy just fine.

Those are just the standard recessed lights... It will still work fine...(Though you can convert easily enough to the composite headlights or even to the 98+ grille and headlights if you want)

oooooh, I like the idea of converting up. The normal headlights look better than the recessed. I'll stop by a coupla junkyards and see what I can acquire.
