1995 jimmy

hey im getting a jimmy from a friend in a couple months and i just want basic 3" drop ( it is 4x4) with 18s or 20s and some chrome. well iv been looking around and pretty much all the aftermarket mirrors and door handles and billet grills are for blazers is there anyone who carrys alot of jimmy parts because i want a full billet grill for my truck and i cant find one. i will also be looking for some 18s or 20s so if you have some for sale for around $700 or less shoot me a pm. and will blazer chrome door handles fit on a jimmy ? and what other exterrior accesories will be interchange able? thanks

The only main difference on the exteriors between the Blazers/Jimmys is the Front end (bumper, grill and headlights) and body cladding. Other than that everything else from a Blazer will fit.

for lowering my jimmy should i just back the tosion keys off or new 3" lowering keys from beltech ? is backing the t-keys off hard on your front end susp and what will the diffrence from backing off and getting new ones be ? thanks

The hole where the torsion bar goes into the key is rotated a small bit giving you the drop instead of backing out the bolts.

so what would you recomend new torsion keys or just take the bolts out ? when people say losen or take them out do i completly remove them ? im talking about the bolts. if i take the bolts out will it be hard on front end parts ?

Doing it the right way would be torsion keys.. you can back out the bolts but I dont know how that affects the handling

well ill try the bolts first i gess but im not to sure about it eather, are the bolts just the 2 at the end of the t-bars ?
