1995 CPI no start-have fual pressure and spark random NOID test

1995 Jimmy 4.3 auto CPI. I have 62+ psi fuel pressure on the test rail. Recent new fuel pump and filter. Starts and stumbles with ether for a few seconds-appears to have string spark. I hooked up a noid light and I iwll get a few strong blinks and then nothing when cranking. Stop for 10 seconds and repeat cranking-noid light does not blink-so it appears that I have an erratic fuel injection pulse.

Additionally-no check engine light and no pending codes. No apparant washing by the fuel reglator...

Can any other sensors cause a no start without throwing a code?

How often to ECM's fry?

Where do I go from here?

Thanks
Tim

The low oil pressure relay in the back of your glove box will cause it not to run. There are two relays there, one for your fuel pump and one for your oil pressure sensor. You can switch them ( they are the same) and listen if your fuel pump is working to see if the relay is bad. This may not be the answer but I'd at least try it.

If you have the ECM on the coolant bottle, check your crank sensor at the base of the timing cover...Did you remove the distributor at any point? Have you check rotor/cap/wires?

OK-update and still not starting. New crank sensor, new Ignition control module. It will still start with ether and run rough. 62 PSI on fuel rails and sporatic noid light test.

ECM?
