01 extreme blazer at the stealership

theres a light blue x blazer at a dealer not to far from me. I WANT IT!! 35,000 miles 4.3, auto, looks to have all options but the sunroof. they are asking 12,900. checked kelley blue book and it said 12,700. i thought about goin in t here and saying $10,000 just to see what they would do. what do u guys think? its also got a gray cloth interior. man is it SWEEET! anything i should look for or check out when i take her out for a test drive? THANKS

i would go and offer 10 for it just have a good look all around at the drive train .

I have a used car dealer when i purchase a vehicle from the auction i try to make it where i gain atleast $4,000 on the purchasing price just incase someone comes in like you said and offers me $10,000 on something i am selling for 12,900 i can sell it right away. but be smart make the offer of $10,000 with tax, title, and licence already included they would be dumb not to sell it and get some cash from it i bet they paid about $8,500 most at auction. I purchased my 00 GMC Jimmy SLT black leather interior, blue exterior, 4 door, sunroof with 45K for $5100 but good luck :thumbup:keep us posted on what happens

yeah offer them 10... sounds reasonable to me. I am looking at a few right now... the blazer x's are awesome!

Hey aztecaking100, I have a dealer license, tax id, etc. how difficult is it to get a auto dealer license, I wouldn't mind getting a few every so often to sale.

well its actually pretty easy to get a dealers licence all you have to do is have a place where you can sell your vehicles and a dealer bond about $150.00 bucks. A dealers licence here in texas is $500.00 to register and $300.00 a year to renew. All they want to know is where you are located and take some pictures of your place and fill forms and thats it well here in texas thats how it works

no x blaze for me. the guy at the dealer was a total tool. said that the 12,900 price was pretty firm. i was like WTF? and he fed me some line about how low that price already is and how they dont mark up there prices like other dealers do. he just had a bad attitude the whole time. screw that place.

10 sounds good, i paid 11750 for my 01 blazer, pretty much the same as the one you listed but not an xtreme and it only had 15k on it, they wanted 12500 or 12900 and i offered 10000 and they counteroffered at 11750 then the manager tried to tell me that they needed more than that, LOL, i dont think so
