'01 engine into '96 Bravada question
I got a steal on a '01 4.3w engine with only 5,000 and I want to put it into my 1996 Bravada which also has the "W" engine. I am curious if anybody has swapped out engines like this with the deletion of the EGR.
From what I found so far, people have said that the old lower intake needs swapped over to new motor along with the flywheel. I also read that something inside the upper intake needs swapped also but no the TBI. Everything I read was merely speculation from people that havent personally done the swap but what they heard. So that is why I started this thread. If you have done this swap or positively know what needs to be swapped, please let me know. Thanks, Eric |

they are the same motor from 96 on, so it should just be a straight swap
