I have seen 4x4 dimes with those and no problems. One of Petersen's off road magazines listed you can put up to 33' but with body lift.

33's good luck my 85 had a higher stance then most some suspenion package tbars tweaked n 3 inch bl couldn't fit more then 31's without trimming and positive back spacing.

btw 235's came factory on 4x4's body lift should allow you to clear em on a 2wd

Re: Whats the biggest tire size for a 2wd s15 ?

Maybe i remembered that wrong. Gonna have to go back and look.........
Ok. The mag is 4x4 Garage and it claims that amount of lift needed on 4x4 to fit size:

31'tires 2-3' lift
33'tires 4-6' lift
35'tires 5-6' lift
37'tires 8' lift
38'tires 9'+ lift

So this info is only good for 4x4, but i would think you should be able to squeeze 30' in a 2x4. I have 225/75/15 and more room to play with, looks like i could fit 235/75/15 no problem.

Re: Whats the biggest tire size for a 2wd s15 ?

My 4x4 dime has 235/75 -15s on it, one of my 2x4 dimes has 235/70 15s on the back and 215/60 15s on the front. 235s on the front of a 2x4 might be a stretch...

Re: Whats the biggest tire size for a 2wd s15 ?

I know this is a few months old, but I have 235 75 15's on my 100% stock 2x4 s10. They rub when the wheel is turned all the way. I think I am going to try 225 75 15 next time I need tires. The 235's aren't bad except for when I'm up at camp and need to make some sharp turns on the tiny dirt road.

instead of going 225 stay with the 235 and drop to a 60(235/60/15) i think you'll be pleased . height is the second number
