Re: S15 to Sonoma

I've got a book at my shop that says, but I can't remember the year. If I remember tomorrow, I'll look and post it.

Wikipedia on the S10 says 1993, but I always thought it was sooner.

Re: S15 to Sonoma

well since i have one i can tell you the model year was 1991 but it actually changed in mid year 90, may, june i think. i bought mine in august of 90 sonoma badges and grille with s-15 on the owners manual and in some auto parts stores i have to tell them s-15 like it really makes a differance! there easy to spot the tailgate has big assed lettering across it SONOMA and the 92 and later have it on the lower right hand side if i remember right

Re: S15 to Sonoma

I had a guy try to tell me the only difference between an S10 and an S15 was that the S15 was extended cab.
