LOL I got lucky and traded some parts. For the seats it would be easier to get some tracks from a set of stock seats and just use them instead of the bench seat tracks.

well if its like 2nd gens, than if you have the 60/40 tracks off the 60/40 seats, than thats 3/4 the battle . My buddy did the cavi swap in his 03 and the seats were a bitch to get detached from the tracks. But anyways, if its like his situation, you need to drill two holes i believe on each side of the cavi seat for a screw of some sorts to tuck up into the seat. Other than that, its a cake walk.

Now if its like my cavi swapin my 93 s10 with first gen blazer buckets....than its easy enought that i did it myself, and thats saying somehting . Those literally just bolted right up 100% to the cavi seats and it bolted to the seat studs on the floor with ease.

Hope this helps.

Re: Post Ur 1st Gen Pics Here

i had to go get some 2nd gen bucket seats and take brackets off them and put them on the Cav seats.. and that was a TOTAL BITCH swapping.. i got to the point i ****in torched the Bolts off the 2nd gen seats.. (I got very little Patience..) lol and then i grinded the slag off and they went on

ok...i do have the 60/40 split stock in my truck right now...so your sayin i have the right seat tracks? and with a little modification i can make those seat tracks bolt to the cavi seats??

just tryin to make sure i have the right seat tracks...modifying shit is not a problem for me

i am not sure if the 60/40 tracks bolt up to the first gen seat studs, but if they do ....than yes it is only a few holes on each seat to drill out for the seat track to sit flush on the bottom of the seat. Its like a nail looking thing of sorts that gets in the way, and thats what is the reason for drilling holes inot the seat, so that nail thing can go into the newly drilled hole to allow the seat track to sit flush on the bottom side of the seat.

Re: Post Ur 1st Gen Pics Here

I'm with you on the body lift. This is just the way I found the truck. I can't decide if I would rather remove the lift and lower it or get the suspension lift and go taller.

Re: Post Ur 1st Gen Pics Here

ditch that body lift and go with a suspension lift. body lifts look bad and are impractical, they only gain you tire clearance. VS a suspension lift gains you ground clearance and tire clearance. that's my 2¢ any way.

I have to agree with that. I like lifted and lowered stuff, but I have a rule I go by.....with the exception of prerunners, If it's 2wd, lower it, if it's 4wd lift it.
