I was thinking of doing that blazer bumper because i know where i can one for cheap looks real good on the truck and after its body dropped the drop tag would be like pow on the ground.

not too much going on looks wise with mine. i'm more concerned with performance

once i get that done, then i'll star working on the looks. half the truck is already primed...alot has been done already since these pics but you get the point. also, hood with cowl has been ordered...

here is my 89 lt1 swap project i picked up about two weeks ago from my high school best friend. he has had it since we were in high school and i am now 33. so this truck almost has sentimental value. it has been sitting for about two years and i finally talked him out of it. the motor and tranny are out now as is the interior and the bed is off. the front section of the frame has been coated with por15. the lt1 is being prepped to put in this weekend and i plan to be driving it by the end of the month. i have polished the bumper back and will do the same with the wheels. it is lowered 3-3 with bell tech spindles and front and rear springs. i will put 3" blocks in the rear and the motor should drop it another inch in the front.

It's Dupont Rally Green with a 4% metallic. The painter (my dad) colour sanded it though so the metallic got really messed up, still looks awesome though.

Unfortunately no I don't. The truck is torn down in the garage, getting ready for a SD 4 link, SD upper and lower control arms whenever they become available, and reinstall of the hydros front and rear, possibly a SFB. If it ever stops snowing I can get some though.

Nice work on my truck! Actually, painting the rims like you did (same color and everything - the frame is that color) and clearing the corner lights are a few of the things I'd like to do. The drop will stay the same and I don't really like the phantom grills as much, which is why I went with a billet grill. Looks like there are quite a few nice 1st gens around here.
