I need the shorter blower motor for a/c delete

I cannot find a part number or even the correct blower motor for a the shorter style fan for the a/c delete system. I took out my evaporator core and installed just the heater case, but my old blower hits the firewall because its too deep. Can anyone get me the correct part number or maybe have one to sell??
I have tried the parts stores and they all show the same deep one for all years with or without a/c. HELP!!

It may be the same motor just a different squirl cage. It should be removable with a rusted on nut. Later ones have a pressed on blade

Yep:

"AC vs. NON AC blower motor comparison. AC fan is 3.5625" deep and NON AC is 2.750" deep."

MadMike is correct about the NON AC blower having a single 10MM nut that holds the squirrel cage on the shaft vs. the squirrel cage just being pressed on for the AC blower. I have never tried just swapping the squirrel cages between the two so, I can't say for sure if it would work or not. Personally I like the idea of having a nut to hold the squirrel cage on rather than it *just* being pressed on.

If you are going ACless, you are going to have to do something with the plug that connects to the blower resistor as well. You can see my post about it here. I have a few NON AC boxes on hand. I *may* consider breaking one up. As a rule, I keep the housings and motor together since syty folks who delete the AC can't get these anymore as they are getting hard to find... Any REASONABLE offer will be considered. So. please don't offer less than what it will cost to ship .

I already have the heater case installed and modified to clear my headers. My blower has pressed on fan cage. Do you have the blower in an assy for me to buy? Or something that will work?

Yep. You can get a rebuilt one from Autozone for about $60 (part number BM10035). I charge $100 for the cover and motor so, you are better off getting one from them rather than paying my premium...

I DID THAT AND EVERYONE THEY PULLED WAS THE EXACT SAME SIZE AS MINE EVEN WHEN IT WAS LISTED AS A/C DELETE OR NON A/C. THE PART NUMBER WAS THE EXACT SAME. I'LL TRY THE AUTOZONE PART NUMBER AND SEE IF IT MATCHES OR NOT.

not yelling, i didnt come here to beat anybody . some people just get offended easily i guess. sorry to offend anybody. i dont think caps is yelling. i thinks thats a dumb explanation. the pc's at work will only use caps locks on for any command so ya get in the habit of not changing back each time. i wont post anymore. sorry.
thanks for the guys who did help and offered suggestions instead of just getting on here to rant about my typing skills. they probably have a forum for that elsewhere!!. if you didnt have any suggestions on help with blower/fan then the questions werent meant for you.

Re: I need the shorter blower motor for a/c delete

Hey no need to sweat it. Yes the powers that be deemed caps as yelling so others will know that was your intent. But some will take a normal font in the wrong way also. Maybe thinking they are reading between the lines or some thing. In fact I know of some forums that if you type in all caps when you hit "add post" it wont allow it until you fix it.
Oh and by the way. That small font is a bitch to read!

I have a non-a/c motor and shroud that I'd let go for $25+shipping.
