i found this truck for $750

so lately i've be jones for another s-10(mostly one like my first one, but i've owned three-an 89 s10 tahoe, an 87 2wd, and a 95 4.3 vortec 5 spd, all where extended cabs and i've regreted selling all of them) so i'm looking and find this one

so i'm like cool it's in great shape for being from wisconsin and everything then i find out it has no title and the guy says it's untitleable

dang so close

all the other ones i find in my price range are either super rusted out or not what i'm looking for

yeah that's about the only thing i can think of that would make it untitleable add that to the fact there is no back window(which i forgot to add earlier) and that really makes a guy think it's hot if you know what i mean

Could always pick that one up, then pick one up later that doesn't run, keep this one as a parts truck..

May just have a lien on it, somebody could have used it as collateral on a loan. idk

you need to go ask the seller for the vin and get a vin check before you consider buying it to make sure it is not stolen. then ask for a bill of sale if it is not hot. if you buy this truck you would not be able to drive it as a daily driver without a title. but you could like people said use it as a parts truck. it is important to see if you can locate the title the person could have pawned the title for cash. If you find a title make sure it does not have a lean on it. just some things to consider.

You can get a new title from the DMV or a titling company like Broadway titles. I hae done it to a many of vehicles that I have owned throughout the years.

Go ahead and get it. If you can't get a title for it, sell it to me for a dramatically lower price. I will do the leg work and sell back to you for around 1000 or so. hahah

yeah not here in wisconsin not one that's that rust free, and if i find them other places they are either 2wd or already modified and i just want a regular old v6, manual, 4x4 daily driver

to all the guys that said use it as a parts truck, i would if i had the space, time and money to do stuff like that

yeah i guess i could do that too, i guess the real moral of the story here kids is if you have truck you like don't get lured in by thinking you like something else better

yeah so that guy lowered his price to $600, but i found one just like the next town over on craigslist that looks almost as good but it's not the extended cab for $900 and one a couple of towns over that's really clean and has nice rims for $1700 so i think i might be going that route
