Re: gauge cluster bulb

i hear you need to do quite a bit of wiring because the bulbs are soldered in or something
not sure how many bulbs you would need, i have an 85 round gauge dash

its like 6 or 7 bulbs for the 82-85 dash, but they are worth it, not sure on the other style dash, i thought they came out the same way

Re: gauge cluster bulb

they twist in for 93.. its the same style as the newer ones.. the 194 is in a small twist in clip that goes in the circuit board

Re: gauge cluster bulb

I have an 87 s10 with only speed and gas gadges...

I just pulled my dash apart this weekend (to paint the grey plastic blue ) and there are 4-194 blubs in mine. (same bulb as in the front corner clearence light beside the headlight). Mine simply had a small socket that the bulb stuck into and then turned a 1/4 turn to lock it in. (Exactly like the corner marker light execpt no wire coming out the back of the socket). Idk anything about LED conversion...but hopefully this helps you out! Good Luck!

Re: gauge cluster bulb

I got mine here. They have great customer service and
I've been running my red LEDS for a few years now,
with ZERO probs. I keep thinking the bulbs themselves
were 74's, but it's been so long, I've forgotten.

Re: gauge cluster bulb

don't have pics of the actual process. you just pull the bezel off, and the gauges unbolt and the bulbs are behind them, bulbs just simply pull out do have a pic with them in though, just be careful with the needles, mine were pretty brittle and broke a couple, lol

Re: gauge cluster bulb

I get all my LED and related products from here:

http://www.oznium.com/leds

good stuff.

I would assume the 91 takes the 6 shown above.

Looks like 7. I bought 12 bulbs and wired them in using
the OEM sockets. Pretty simple. I believe I saved 4
or 5 for spares. I'd have to go look, and I'm beat.
