fikrewall water leak onto floorboard when it rains

have a bad water leakin coming from somewhere near the fuse panel

when it rains

fills the floorboard full of water

anyone know a common issue here wit these trucks that causes this ?

currently my cowl panel under the wiper arms is removed

would this alone cause this leak on these trucks >?

i really cant see exactly how and where the water is getting in other than its somewhere near the fuse panel

and thats all i can tell

thanks

The windsheild may have a leak in it somewhere. The water can cling to edges and run all the way across and end up anywhere. Also since your cowl is off check and make sure its not plugged with dirt and leaves on both sides. Should be draining down at the very bottom from behind the fenders.

Is this the POS that shakes when you drive it? Drill a couple holes in the floor and call it a day. It's fast and easy. So easy, even a caveman can do it.

There is a drain on each side under the cowl. They plug up even with the black plastic piece under the cowl in place so with it removed it would just add to the problem. As MadMike said check to see if that's clogged. The drains are about level with, and slightly forward of, the lower hinges.

ok i just figured it out.
i just dumped gallon of water on the cowl and it leaked inside.
traced it up to the steering column firewall seal.
someone unbolted it in the past all the bolts are missing
