aftermarket temp gauge question
i bought a 88 s10 and had a few questions. i have the standard model that just has the mph and fuel. how hard would it be to wire up a electrical temp gauge? im doing a rpm gauge sunday but couldnt find any info on a aftermarket temp gauge install? thanks guys

It most likely will be the same info for any size motor. I did not look but its real simple. The temp light will have a sender in the side of one of the heads by the spark plugs. You can replace that with the sender that comes with the new gauge or put the sender in the other head and have both the light and a gauge hooked up. I am assuming you are using an aftermarket gauge in a gauge pod or braket mounted some where and not installing an original one in the dash.
