I was wondering if 86 and up door panels will work on 85 and back doors? Are the clips different or what?

I think they are the same. don't think the interior changed much if any.

Well actually the dash and door panels are completely different looking but i just checked and the window cranks and door handels line up the same.

so you have the panels? why not just try them to see if they work? you could take the existing panel off and look at the clips to see if they are located in the same spots.

They should fit.

When I bought my '83 the previous owner has swapped the entire interior to a '91.

the door panels fit the edges just dont line up w the dash i have 91 door panels in my 85 they look descent.
