4.3 4x4 and 4.3 2 wheel drive what's the diff
i have a 92 s10 2 wheel drive and i want to put the 4.3 engine out of my 88 4x4 s10 in it are the engine the same? is it geared any different? what will i have to change?

Yes they are the same engine unless the 92 is the cpi engine. You will need to change the oil pan and also remove the oil filter relocator. They are not geared different. Are you also swapping the tranny? Those are the main 2 things I can think of right now. I'm sure someone will chime in if I left anything out

no both the motors are the tbi and my 4x4 don't have the oil filter relocator and i am not trading trans my 4x4 blew the trans that is why i want to trade out the motor to my 2 wheel drive it will bolt to the 2 wheel trans wont it
