Re: The Resurrection Begins...

sorry for the lack of pics lately guys---covering a shift for a co-worker who went on vacation. lucky bastard!!

anyways I have made some progress and I promise I'll get some pics going next week...

--new crossmember is welded in, stock one is chopped off
--rear axle is centered and the angle set, and has been welded in position
--extended the harnesses to the fuse box and moved it up behind the throttle body
--moved the ECU to the left of the throttle body
--put a dual sport kit on my dirtbike (haha--gotta save money somehow!--mileage)

hopefully my yokes will be in this coming week so i can get motivated to make up brake lines and get the suspension setup so it will roll.

stay tuned!

Re: The Resurrection Begins...

Well no pics again tonight but i have all the frame mods done to attach the x-member (it bolts right up now)

no pics because my dumbass drunk friend jumped on a 3-wheeler with no brakes and rolled it about 5 times---luckily he only ended up with 6 stiches in his calf. That blew the end of my night so no time for pics.

house shopping saturday morning so i may have pics up by sunday....no guarantees!

Re: The Resurrection Begins...

Updated Pics:

-Crossmember mounted up and links bolted on....next step is to fabricate the outer mount for the lower link on the frame side, then I start plating the front of the frame and making coil buckets. then its figuring out what pitman arm to use and making a panhard bar mount......

Wow, that looks like it's basically a coil bolt-on SFA kit...

Re: The Resurrection Begins...

its an 06 wr250f. its pretty solid and rides decent on the street---I need to ditch the knobbies on the road tho.

I wouldn't say its a bolt on coil sfa kit because it takes a pretty serious amount of frame modifications just to get the crossmember to bolt up.....

but i know what you mean by sfa kit......someone should really use the crossmember and link kit to make a kit for our s10's............
