Re: soild axle swap help needed
2wd or 4x4?? and why do you was to do a SAS? It will probly be easier and cheaper if you just do a ifs lift if you dont plan to wheel it real hard.

Re: soild axle swap help needed
if you can come across axles for cheap at a salvage yard... like some jeep axles, dana 30 and dana 35, and the steering setup and all, you could probly get away doing that cheaper than doing an ifs lift.

Re: soild axle swap help needed
the cheapest way to do it is by buying a donor vehicle. 80-91 jeep waggoneers can be found for a few hundred dollars sometimes, they have a 44 front and usually a AMC 20 rear. part it out, and you can likely do the swap for free (net cost of $0)

Re: soild axle swap help needed
indeed, i doubt there is a kit currently on the market. we are working on one at 3 Leaf Fab, its nearing production. there is another company i have heard of called diversified creations that is almost out with a kit i believe. but i dont know anything about it, or any contact info.

Re: soild axle swap help needed
diversified creations has a website.... same as the name. hes a GM engineer that also has a shop in michigan or illinois... forgot wich one. but the kit being produced right now is for the Zr2... the kit is done, but its not produced yet (a few trucks already have it for testing purposes). im intersted in seeing the 3 leaf fab one too. i'll link the thread for the diversified build page..... http://http://www.zr2usa.com/mboard/...howtopic=24105
