How many miles did you get outa those coopers!?

Im really impressed with my dads tires at the moment! He has Goodyear fortera's on his 01 Jeep cherokee. The truck has 111K miles on it. and its his 2nd set of tires. These tires EASILY have 15K miles more worth of life! I was extremely impressed by those tires!

I know they are an AT/street tire but either way... 60K out of a tire is pretty impressive!

i think i only got 20-25k out of em... i'm sure my rear contributed to much of the accelerated wear. i'm gunna try for a harder rubber compound in my next set of tires... the coopers are rather soft

They are very soft! But I believe thats what made them such a great STREET/off road tire...

Well... Ive got my Firestone destinations ATs and I like them!

Re: RC S-series wheelin'

I will discuss with Greek amos and brian this week. And brandon... Would you like to give me a time frame in which it would be comfortable for you to take time off so I can throw around some ideas with the (above) studges...

Re: RC S-series wheelin'

well july has already been mentioned... thats a good place to start. allows me to work some and make a lil money so i can afford the trip.. i'll also need new tires this summer and SHOULD have them by the end of june to pass inspection. probably the first two weeks of july would be good for me. the wife and her family want to plan a vacation for the end of the summer, probably in august... but they might also try for the last week or so of july.

i'm guessing this will be a weekend trip?? weekends will probably be best for me (and probably everyone else too) as i doubt i'll be working weekends. but just incase i do have to work weekends i'd like to know ahead of time so i can get off work.

also... did you clowns ever figure out if there will be another LS run? i havent been over to ps.com in a long time... so i havent checked

Re: RC S-series wheelin'

The first two or three weekends in July work best for me. I just need to know ahead of time so I can get the time off of work.

Sounds like it should work for me... I just have to run it by my family because we have a couple summer vacations already planned... But I do believe they are in august.

Re: RC S-series wheelin'

I was thinking more like:
meet Friday morning (around 10 or 11)
wheel in the afternoon
camp Friday night
Wheel Saturday
Camp out Saturday night
Wheel Sunday morning
Leave Sunday afternoon/evening

With the option to stay until Monday.
