Re: Post Pics of Your Lifted Ride!

Okay, I think I figured out how to load pics properly, So I am going to give it a try. This is my Blazer. First time off road, and completely stock.....

it was deeper then it looked, I had bottomed out, and unfortunately had to be pulled out by a FORD......

It was a blast though. Can't wait to set it up to do it for real!

South central. I live in Lancaster County. Southern end. FYI, we have a trip planned for the 27th if you are interested. Right now there are about eleven trucks going, up in East Earl right off 322. I am bringing my other ride since it is lifted and I will need the larger tires. Interested?

LowKat, do you have chromoly shafts in that front end or are you running stock material shafts?

This spring, probably around end of April. I will have by Blazer done, and there is a large group gouing up to St. Clair for the weekend. All kinds of trails, mud and rocks, and we will probably camp for the weekend too. Perhaps your will be ready by then. I will let you know.

It's got stock shafts and it's a junkyard build...
.......I'm just a poor hillbilly.
My friend owns a yard so parts are usually free.

If i bought moly shafts. that'd double the money I've spent on that project.

Attached photos shows the latest build outta the yard.
Jeepster Commando on Ford frame w/Chevy running gear.

Re: Post Pics of Your Lifted Ride!

Free parts? you should get free F150 springs and send them to me. Ones that are 2.5 inches wide and around 56 inches long (along the main leaf) and have like 4 or 5 leafs in the pack for my SAS.

Mine are from Glassworks Unlimited

Hannemann also sells them
http://www.hannemannfiberglass.com/C..._S-Series.html

Then there is Offroad Fiberglass
http://off-roadfiberglass.com/offroad.html

A couple guys, who own Glassworks and Hannemann, prefer the looks of the Hannemanns. I don't know anyone running the Offroad.
