Tow/Haul switch

I just picked up a floor shift console out of a '97 Blazer and it has the Tow/Haul switch. It's going in the SS and the current column shifter doesn't have this ferature. Is this something different internally in the tranny or will it make any difference at all. I don't even know if the current harness has a plug for it.

Re: Tow/Haul switch

It is wired to the BCM or PCM depending on when vehicle it is in. It has interanl programming in the PCM to control the tranny differant, when towing
