i like the powertrax lockrite. its really effective, easy on the wallet, and you dont have to mess with reshimming. much easier installation.

I don't really know much about the rear-ends on these cars, so this you're saying is a bolt-up job for a 4.3L Pickup?
Are 4WD rear-ends differnet? I know I have a G80 so I'm guessing I'd have to pull that. I have a 98 4X4 that needs a posi badly at the autocross, so this sounds like a sweet deal to me.

The Blown Blazer is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Posi Rear End?????

It's a bolt in job assuming you keep the stock shims and the differential going on has bearings already attached. In my experience, the Torsen is very difficult to install in a S10/Blazer because it's nearly impossible to get the axles into the differential far enough to attach the c-clips. I could not do it on my S10 nor my old Blazer. I ended up going with an Auburn diff out of a LT1 Camaro.

Re: Posi Rear End?????

no problem intalling mine.

you will have to reshim the carrier due to it being a diff carrier. you may get lucky and your fact shims work, but more than likely they won't.

i would suggest using new bearings. they aren;t that exp
