Need some Help
I have an 03 Xtreme 4.3 auto with about 61,XXX miles almost 62. Ive been wanting to do some maintenance to hopefully have this thing last me a while. So I want to do a tranny flush and filter change, rear-end flush, radiator flush, obviously ill do a oil change cause its due, and any other flush or maintenace you may think I should do... So thats where my questions come into play. 1) I heard that after a certain mileage I should bother doing the tranny flush cause it will make it worse, What do you guys think? 2) Anything else you think I should do while I am getting these other things done, such as a power steering flush? What do you think? Thanks in advance!!

Re: Need some Help
If the tranny works good now it will work good after the fluid change. 62k isn't much mileage IMO. I wouldn't bother with a "flush" of some of these fluids, just a change will do. For instance, I don't know how you would flush the differential lube. Bleeding the brakes would pretty much flush the old fluid out. You can siphon off and re-fill the reservoirs of the brakes and power steering. The coolant can be flushed with water b/4 re-filling. My .02 cents.
