manual to automatic.
alrite so im a noob, and i just had a question. i have been looking for s10s already bagged due to the nature of me not knowing how to do the work and not having the time even though i would like to be a part of building it. i am paralyzed from the waist down from a motocross accident a 2 years ago and so i need an automatic tranny. If i find a truck that i like that is a 5 speed is it possible to do a manual to automatic install? and how hard would it be? etc. thanks.

Re: manual to automatic.
i just put a th350 behind my 1995 xcab with 4.3cpi..... i had to modify the crossmember, get a flexplate instead of flywheel, got driveshaft lengethened on the front shaft, add a shifter on the floor.. and patch the manual shifter hole.. i have autometer eletric gauges so i had tio get a new sender unit for the speedo.... went right in....

Re: manual to automatic.
a baby 700 would be a good swap, all you need is a tv cable, and a lock-up controller.
