Ford 9" ?
Looking at putting a ford 9" in my first gen this winter. I did a search on the forum and didnt really find much. (didnt search that hard) Was just wondering if anybody ran into any major problems with the swap. Im going with a ford 9" because i can get one for free.

Re: Ford 9" ?
Been there done that in my last s10 project. actually sold it to move "up" to an 8.8. It was out of a late '60's bronco. It was unshortened and went right in the s10. It was actually shorter than the 8.8. Mine was a 28 spline with a posi and drum brakes. I ditched it for an 8.8 with 31 spline, posi and discbrakes. Personaly I like the 8.8 better. I only spent $300 for a good conition 8.8. I had over $1000 into the 9".
