Can a 4L60E Transmission from 90 s-10 blazer go into a 93 fullsize chevy truck?

I have a 4L60E trany out of a 90 s-10 blazer 4x4 and I wanna put it into a 93 full size chevy pickup 4x4. Can I do this and the transfer case?

You sure about the trans model?? I thought 4L60E's didn't come out until mid-90's........maybe a 700R4?? Actually the same trans w/o electronic controls.

90 will be 700 and the 93 will more than likely be 4l60e.

the 4l60e came out in 93.

k well i have 4L60E out of a s-10 blazer 4x4 that must be a 93 then. Can that transmission go into a fullsize chevy 4x4 pickup?

they should they are basically the same. look for the electrical plug on pass side to verify that it is a 60E. 700 also have an elec plug for lockup and iot is on the drvs side.

So long the one in the s-10 was a 4.3.

you will also need the adapter from the full size to mate up to the full size t-case. the trans themselves are the same though as far as i know.

Just an old dad now...for now at least
