Hi all, like title said, we are there. The NV 3500 are not up to do the task at 6800 RPM shift. So the T-56 swap are the way to go.

The donors are a 2006 CTSV.

Looks great, I like the looks of the shifter you have as well. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Ok some update. For those you want to do the swap in the future.

* The Master cylinder are Wilwood 260-10374 7/8'' Bore to ensure a full clutch release at High RPM

* The T56 are from a CTSV 2006. I have rebuilt it entierly because the tranny was in bad shape.

* You have to replace th CTSV mainshaft with GTO mainshaft, and install the GTO/LS1 tail housing.

* I have purchased a front T56 shifter relocation kit

* The shifter handle are from Bowler

* The shifter ball are from a mustang Cobra 2004

* The CTSV input shaft seems a little shorter than an LS1 input shaft.

* 2001 4.3 engine have the pilot bearing all the way down in the crank.

* So no spacer are required to install the transmission bell housing to the engine block.

* The only bolt that does'nt fit are the upper one on the right side of the block.

* The input shaft to pilot bearing fit are perfect

* Clutch are SPEC stg 1 11'' disc at 22 lbs

*Slave cylinder are from a GTO 2005 (Mostly the same as the S-10 2001)

* Clutch line are 30'' from LS1 4AN with the quick release http://www.hinsonsupercars.com/p-475-ls1-clutch-line-new.aspx

* Flywheels are RAM aluminium 2530 at 18 lbs

* ARP bolts (Flywheels and clutch)

* The transmission support are energy suspension (Same as the NV 3500)

* You need to custom made a slave cylinder spacer 0.575'' with this clutch / flywheel combo to get the proper stack height recommanded by SPEC (0.200'')

* The speedo reluctor wheel are custom fit 41 tooths from a SSR vehicle.

* The first part of the driveshaft need to be shortened 1.250'' (I have a 2 pc)

* You have to cut the floor 3 inches to get the shifter work properly.

* The crossmembers are the stock one, cut and welded by me and that fit perfectly.

This cover the most for the T56 swap on my truck.

Hope this help someone

Sebastien
