weird edc noise

just noticed this a couple weeks ago, everything works just fine, its just makes a weird noise when the compressor is actually pumping, doesnt do it when its not, i dont think it is the actualy compressor, thinking more along the line of the idler pulley, but may be wrong, im running the airlift edc kit for a 2.2

Re: weird edc noise

it sounds like the compressor to me. my sanden makes the same noise but quieter and a lower pitch. Only at idle though.

You have enough oil in it im sure, it almost sounds kind of dry though.

Re: weird edc noise

figured out what it was with the help of billy(redngreedy)

it was the lower bolt on the edc bracket that goes into the engine block, it backed out about a 1/2"
