I have swapped to disc in the rear and plan to use the abs. do i still need to change the prop valve thats in between the unit and m/c or will it adapt itself?

jdrinkard did you have to deal with any metering valves of sorts on that conversion? I had a question regarding pressure differntial switches and where they are located. Mine is an 01 sonoma and I'm about to do the delete. Just wanted to know if the abs valve is also performing the pressure diff functioning seeing as that is where the front brakes T off. And if this is the case should a guy incorporate them instead of a front T just for safetys sake. I'm probably over thinking it maybe these trucks don't even have a pressure differential switch.

Can I use the stock one from my 2000? I don't mind having to T off the front line. Just wanna make sure before I go n weld a bracket to the frame and run into a problem. Rather do it right the 1st time.

Where in bloddy hell is this "stock" prop valve on the 2000 and 2001s? I have my abs gutted as of last week right to the hard lines. My noma is 4wd with 4 disc brakes stock. I fail to see the apparent proportioning valve that everyone with these years seem to have. I only have an abs valve I swear. Is the rear bias created inside my abs valve? I have 3 outputs 2 are for the fronts and 1 goes to the rear and it goes straight to the rear no valve in between that I can see. My truck has to have bias being all disc and I never locked the rears all winter. My only concern I hope someone can answer is am i missing it? is it inline somewhere? I don't want to run double prop valves to the back that would just be counterproductive.
