Re: Viair Is Awesome!!!
NO worries bro, its on my desk. Today, tomorrow - whatever is best for you. Definitely play it as safe as possible! (Don't you have a schrader valve on your tank? - That would make it easy to air up using a portable compressor in a time like this.) |

Anytime is good bro... Come on down! I take lunch around noon time. If there's a lifted silver Tundra, a silver GSXR, or a big black V twin cruiser here - I'm here. |

Re: Viair Is Awesome!!!
hahaha gotcha.... well more fun with my truck.... i go to leave but wanted to make sure head still wasnt leaking that bad after my jerry rig.... all is good... then i hear another hesssss.... its from my second tank which my valves are screwed into... so dont have time to mess with that tank again. so i run the fill line from tank one to tank to into the valves... but now the fill valve is cross threaded some how.... so had to switch that valve out... then put all back together (lots of zip ties lol) and now what... i come inside and see its 12 lol!!!!! gota wait another hour lol... i swear man im just not meant to have this truck working lol.
screw it ill just leave now and wait in the parking lot...hope there is no traffic lol... might bring tools and change head out in parking lot lol! |

Re: Viair Is Awesome!!!
Thanx Lance!!!!
sorry i was a little dirty i just got done doing what i said to truck and took off. I would like every one to know that Viair is of the best companys out there! Ever one there was super nice while i was waiting. One guy was talking to me about my truck when i first pulled up then later came out and gave me a viar lanyard lol. then every one said hi when they passed. Just seem like a super nice place to be. Lance came in from lunch and went and got me my new head, bolts, bushings and some sick looking viair stickers! Shuck my hand and asked if i needed anything else let him know. all in all viair and lance are the shit! ![]() thanx again man im having lil bit of hard time getting the wax out of the bolt heads but after that should be all good! Re: Viair Is Awesome!!!
lol see now aren't you glad we said talk to lance!
for the wax, if you have a toothpick or small screwdriver and a light/torch, they come out easy. |

Re: Viair Is Awesome!!!
Totally welcome Drew! That's not wax - its two part epoxy. Drill it out with a smaller drill bit and pick out the leftovers with a small slotted screwdriver - OR - You can torch it, sink an Allen wrench into it and just remove the bolt. I gave you new bolts so you don't have to mess with nasty old bolts again. No worries about being dirty bro. -You are accomplishing things! I have spent years in custom shops in my time, so to me - you looked clean! lol I am sorry I didn't have time to hang out with you. I left for an hour, and when I came back - I had a ton of work piling up already! |

Re: Viair Is Awesome!!!
I'm pretty sure you're talking about the intake & exhaust valves... They allow air flow into the compressor and keep it there during the piston stroke that compresses air through the leader hose, past the check valve and into your air tank. If those don't seal, you will also have a leak - and may blow fuses. The check valve at the end of the leader hose keeps these alive longer. If the valves are dirty, remove the fixing screw, then clean and put them back. Sometimes filth and buildup gets stuck in the orifice that they each seal. If they're cracked - they need to be replaced. |

Re: Viair Is Awesome!!!
hey, i think some one from the corp. sent me the wrong p switch. its for 200 psi and my comp. is only rated for 200? its working realy hard to get to 200 i think. i bought all my items over a year ago and just finishing installing them. could i get a new switch or is this one fine? im running 5 gallons and one 100% duty cycle compressor.

Re: Viair Is Awesome!!!
The products you purchased have/had a one year manufacturer defect warranty. If there is no defect, that's the extent of the warranty. If you would like a different pressure switch, please seek out any of the fine vendors on this forum. I'm sure they have what you need. |
