Well, I've honestly been leaning towards a Fire Truck of some sort. Not exactly Jasons "semi", lol, but I've been thinking Fire Truck since this thing started. Only thing holding me back is I would like to somehow do some crazy paint but a fire truck really only looks good red.

Yea, just cant think of anything out of the ordinary. I personally hate flames so that's out, and just cant think of any thing cool to go with red that'll still look ok on an old fire rig.

people need to stop getting discouraged by what other people are building, who cares if someone is building something bagged???? who knows if it will ever get done like most project trucks on here, and who doesnt have the money to build a model?? they are 20 dollars at most, 3 for a can of paint, i bought a assortment of brushes for 3 dollars and the little bottles of paint cost around 1.50. stop the ****ing excuses and just build something. who cares if you win or lose, just have fun and be creative. building a kick ass model can be done for less than 50 bucks, you have three months to do it. how about take an hour a day off the forum and put that into building a model. you have the internet, search for ideas and just build something.

I didn't say I dont have money to build a sick ass model. Only refference I made about money is I cant afford to build ALL of the models I want to build, nor could I build ALL of those models in 3 months. No ones bitching here, we're actually having a good time.......until someone comes in like this ^^^. Quit taking things so seriously, honestly, it's just a model, I could care less if I even build one. I have a full scale build here that's much more important.

But for your first part, I agree 100%, just because someone may make a "working" bagged model still doesnt mean it'll be most creative in SD's eyes. So build some shit anyways and send it in. Jason just made this part of our sport (sorta) so join in the fun and do the damn thing.

The tonneu cover isn't on exactly straight. But w/e

Mock ups on these little things are hard as hell cause everything is so small......90% of my model is all cut up i dont think there are more than 5 stock pieces.

Teaser pic but its not even close to done and these are not the wheels im using but laying doors.......

1/4milecrazy good bye red, it was fun Age: 33 Join Date: Feb 2004 Posts: 4,873 Location: New Jersey User is: OffLine	Re: The 2009 Suicidedoors.com & Airlift Company Super Duper Contest Give Away!! people need to stop getting discouraged by what other people are building, who cares if someone is building something bagged???? who knows if it will ever get done like most project trucks on here, and who doesnt have the money to build a model?? they are 20 dollars at most, 3 for a can of paint, i bought a assortment of brushes for 3 dollars and the little bottles of paint cost around 1.50. stop the ****ing excuses and just build something. who cares if you win or lose, just have fun and be creative. building a kick ass model can be done for less than 50 bucks, you have three months to do it. how about take an hour a day off the forum and put that into building a model. you have the internet, search for ideas and just build something.
