i do see where you are goin here tho, i used to build scale models for people replicating their real trucks and i had some good cash/time invested. sure its a $10-$15 kit but i used to replicate real trucks and sell them to people for hundreds

shipping a model to us without it getting damaged is easy. just pack it up with tissue paper semi tightly so it wont bounce around. the tissue paper will allow it to move around just a little without causing damage. easy as pie!

the crew here at SD will be the judges.

if you want your model returned to you, enclose $10.00 to cover re-packaging and UPS fee's. make sure to include a note with your name addy and phone number.

On a side note I remember seeing a thread somewhere about model trucks done up custom. The truck in that thread could of been shot for a damn mag. They were crazy, so i'll be keeping an eye on this thread just for those kinda pics, theres no way I can duplicate that .

This maybe true, but maybe jason and the guys will look past some of that and look more for creative ideas and not complete show truck status.

I got a few ideas, but my craftsmanship is nothing like those already pictured. I do bet he will look for more custom work then anything. At least I hope any way. I have some crazy ideas, but they may not look as "smooth" or as clean as other trucks.

Simply amazing! I love models but never have the time to build them anymore. It would be nice if you had to use only plastic model car parts. Take parts from other model kits but no lego parts or dub city parts....kinda keep the playing field even.

blah, most models (high end ones) dont use "from a kit" parts. they use all kinds of stuff. from off the shelf to hand made parts.
the way i read it, its just gotta be a model of a truck or car ect .
thats like going to a show any saying you can only enter if you only have all stock parts....

Kinda confused me here. It does say it's got to be a model but Jason has said it can be anything and any scale. From a hot wheel to an off the lot truck. The main game is MOST CREATIVE will be the winner, so more than likely it will be one of those with the hand made parts, etc. Most who get this involved will probably only be using the body/shell from the "parts kit" or donor model.
