Project: lawn gnome

ok well here it is, im back again, working on a 98 that i have had for a while now. it has been sitting in the yard for a couple years now like a gnome in the yard lol

i gave 200 bucks for it, had a 350 in it at one time by previous owner (shitty work), theres no motor or anything in it right now, its gonna be laying frame on 20's and hopefully be my little toy for the 09 show season.

this truck is pretty much gonna be a budget build, so most of the stuff i have been peicing together from here on the classifieds and some stuff i already have.

for everything else i will more than likely go through streetnshow.com, waylayedinc.com, and suicidedoors.com

for anyone that has seen my first gen build, u probablly know i sold it and kept the archers.

and the green truck has not been forgotten, its just on the backburner for now because i lost motivation. but hopefully this will brighten up my spirits and give me the motivation i need.

on to the pics.....

those r all pics from sunday, and i have got alot done since then, which i will hopefully post tonight

i have put barnyard arms on it, cut for tierods, cut the firewall on pas side, taken the bed off, took the dash steering column, booster, and everything else off the firewall.

ill post progress pics from tonight at around 12 or so

More pictures always works dude. Should be a fun project. Sucks that you lost motivation on your other truck. Hope this helps it.

Re: Project: lawn gnome

im building it to take to blood drag hopefully, but if i miss that then it will definately be going to spring fling and the rest of the shows i go to this season.

i cant decide whether or not i wanna run the palisades on it or the archers, im thinking the archers and ill save the palisades for the green truck

these byc arms might be the ones he messed up on, tons of negative camber when laid out, and then when its up there is pretty bad positive camber lol

Never mind. I need one that fits between the rear frame rails. So how much of it do you plan on having done by spring fling. Just bagged and driving or paint too. I see some nice scratches down each side.
