Re: ~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

UPDATE: FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY got the clutch in its final resting place. it has plenty of angle up now, and I should be DEF clear. I didnt really give a damn too much to clean up the bondo around the wire harness hole and clutch master mount, because to me as long as its functional then its cool. As long as my blazer looks cracking on the outside and inside the cabin, ill be happy. I dont have a ls1 under the hood so whatever.

Anyways, now I can get started on gettin those inners welded in, everything else mounted, and get the inside cleaned up. woohoo getting that much closer. Pics to come my camera didnt have battttttzzz

Re: ~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

Update. Got wires for all 4 valves up front ran and ready to go. Rewired the gauge cluster, got wires ready for the A-pillar gauges, and finally got the dash in. oh yeah on top of that i got layed off, so ill be working no the truck on the daily now! yay

Can anyone tell me where this harness goes/plugs into? I have vague memories of it not being used when I would be ****ing around with my h/u, but i can't remember exactly.

Re: ~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

In the first pic, you have a module (door popper?) & a ton of wires stuffed in the air plenum.....you know that's a wet area, don't you??....bad place for electrical goodies!!
Purple plug goes to BCM, I think....hard to see the general location in the pic.

Yeah I welding a filler plate to block off that opening so moisture doesnt reach down there, so no worries

Re: ~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

Fellas, I actually need some feedback on this one. Wired up my valves and i have a problem (couldnt find it with the search). The fills work fine, but the dumps STAY open when there is 12V connected. When I disconnect the 12v constant from the switch box hub, the dump valve selenoids release and fall back to close, but when i connect the 12v back into the hub, both dumps are triggered and stay on in the open position.

I wired them the same way as the fills, just wondering what is wrong.

I would assume:
Wiring on the actual valve is wrong, and i just need to reverse ground/power wires

switch box is ****ed up? I dont know

Re: ~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

I know how to wire it. Im pretty good with electrical from wiring systems and this is pretty straight forward. both the fill valves work fine and they are grounded with the dump valves

no. Even if they were backwards they would still function the same, but both dump selenoids are triggered open when i connect power to my switch box. The black box thing on the valves starts to heat up and get hot from holding the selenoid up the whole time

Re: ~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

nice build, I've looked at every page. the wheels are sweet w/ the orange color. I like everything I'm seeing....just can't wait to see it finished! G.luck with the wiring deal, hopefully the issue is the swit.box.

Re: ~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

Lookin good man. BTW that is pretty much how my rims came. Mine are American Racing, which I believe is owned by the same company as Gianelle. Thats pretty much the norm for shipping rims. If you order them with tires mounted alot of times they just band em together and you dont even get the box.
