~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

Welp, Im finally doing it after all this time. And right before I head into college in August LOL. Okay on to the chase.

Foundation: 2002 Blazer Xtreme

Parts on the way or being built:
  • York 210 edc
  • SD Uppers & Lowers
  • SD front cups
  • RE 7's for front
  • Toxic drop Shocks
  • 1/2" airline
  • (4)3/8th smc valves (front)
  • SMC Water trap
  • Kobalt water trap
  • ss mirrors
  • Easystreet dual needle gauge
  • Air-Zenith LED Digital gauge
  • 145/175 pressure swich
  • 5 packets thread sealant
  • 50ft 1/8th airline
  • 9 gallon 5 port tank
  • 2'' deep license plate box
  • EAI 9 switch switch box
  • Door fillers
  • Amenity 7 channel door popper
  • Misc fittings mostly ptc
  • alot of 18g steel
  • large piece of 3/6ths steel
  • Millermatic 211 with autoset
Parts needed:
  • BLF No-notch tie rods
  • Front tubs
  • Prolly a few more fittings
  • prolly 2102's (drop spindles)
Final Goal
Lay frame all around on 22's FBSS with massive rear lift

Keep in mind fellas im only doing the front first, then back later. I want to be able to focus on a smaller portion of work and figure out all problems and kinks in the road first, not later down the road. I will be tubbing the firewall to lay 22's, and most likely redoing the blower box to retain climate controls.

For the back, I plan on bag on bar in the rear with a custom 4 link fabbed by me

Since Jase at SD won't have those arms built for another 3-4 weeks, looks like were gonna be hitting the small items first. Shaved doors, painted rear window trim, EDC mounts, plumbing, etc. All will be posted here.

New tools and shiz:

heres the bigass piece of 18g (4'x10') got it for $50

next to the bike for comparison

Piece of 3/16ths $10

Yeah 18 lol. I was gonna do this last year but just got sidetracked with shit. That's what happens when you buy a bike lol. BUT, its finally time to get back to my chev and get it sick for summer. That and I'm so damn tired of a stiff ass suspension that is a rollercoaster on the highway.

I have a homie who works at HF so I get stuff pretty cheap . And I feel what your saying about getting it done before I leave lol. That's just more incentive to continue the split work plan

damn man shit should turn out real sick. u plannin on keepin the extreme kit? i hope not

but how in the hell did you get all the cash to buy all this stuff and a bike? if you dont mind me askin

i bagged my truck when i was 16 and it cost me about 1500 in parts and another 1200 on rims. I built my own link and backhalf so that saved me some cash and people always asked me how i got that much cash so quick. I didnt tell this to people but i was pushin a LOT of weed around back then, makin more money then i could handle. I still blew it within 3 years tho cuz i was broke as a joke for a bout a year untill i started workin at NCR.

SO dont do drugs kids!

im gonna keep my eye on this thread. should turn out badass

yes keeping the xtreme kit. I didnt buy a regular s10 blazer as you can see. I got hit back in 00' so i have some accident money left over. Then the other bits from Powdercoating, and tinting. Its nice to see you gave back to the community back then i appreciate that. =) LEGALIZE IT! Anyways I will be running Gianelle Tropez 10spoke 22's all around

btw if anyone needs any smaller parts PC'd you better hit me up. I price it very, VERY nicely =)

I feel it. The front and plumbing wont take that long at all anyway. The back is the time eater especially when your resources are minimized. mine fortunately are not

Re: ~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

Cutting will begin in a little bit. ALRIGHT just to inform you guys so you stop wondering. I will start cutting when the weather gets better. I have my gsxr to ride, but i wont cut into my blazer until the rain is gone for good or gone for the most part. I dont want to start cutting into it and then get F'd by shitty weather. We have rain all this week, but after this week its supposed to get nice. THAT is my bind. but i can do everything else until then.

Question. Just got the york 210 in. its pretty dirty, especially the clutch components. did any of you guys clean it up, or what did you do? I can sand blast anything I need to, but it looks like the inner part of the clutch (with the wire going to it) has some electrical components on it (stator?) and i dont wanna sand blast that crap if it will ruin it. Give me some thoughts on this. Thanks fellas!

Re: ~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

Upate with pictures coming:
Shaved the doors yesterday. Took me a while cause they didn't give me a wiring diagram and I did it mostly myself until I needed to check online LOL. Did those of you that shaved yours keep the rods for the inside door handles? I kinda bent mine up so ill either have to get them straight again or route some steel cable in there. SD Is pretty backed up so I won't be receiving my stuff for another week prolly :/ . Working on the mounting plate and mounting bar that holds the edc. Cleaned up the clutch and regreased it as well.

Installing my emergency switch for the doors today

Re: ~PROJECT~ ItzAn808

yeah i kept my inside handle rod so i can open from the inside. i took out the lock and outside handle rods though. i used the AVS kit, but that shouldn't make a difference.
