Project -Beat 2 Death- 2ooo sonoma bagged stock floor bodydropped on 22s

just picked this up march -08 and started collecting the parts needed to build it.

2000 sonoma 36k miles 2.2 4 cyl 5 speed. regular cab short bed.

i have been trying to buy this truck for the last 5-6 years. finally talked the owner into selling it since it has just sitting for years.

it will be a low budget, super quick build! but done right, the first time around.

basically want to see if i can build a near show worthy truck for cheap. (under 10k)

will never be a full out show truck, because it will be daily driven and dragged 2 death.

needs a little body work but runs great and has low miles.

well here are the plans so as of right now.

new
fenders -mint oem gm fenders installed-
hood - mint black oem 03 s10 hood installed-
bumper/rebar - mint oem smooth sls bumper installed and primered-
grill -mint oem blue grille installed-
headlights -2000 envoys installed-
completely smoothed and shaved bodydropped bed - almost done -
160 amp high output alternator - installed-
cavi intake swap -done-.

stock floor bodydrop done with all round tubular rear frame.

bagged with-
2- 2009 ob2 black sparkly AIR ZENITH COMPRESSORS!!!!!!! 3/09
5- 2009 black AIR ZENITH DIGITAL GAUGES < THESE THINGS ARE BAD ASS
avs spike 9 switch rocker box. <THIS BOX IS FREAKIN AWESOME!
2 edc's
-1 sanden in stock ac location. -DONE- workin great!
-1 sanden on passenger side of motor if it dont hit the tires.
custom www.krisdyefabrication.com FORWARD 4 link with bags on the bars
2 stainless 5 gallon tanks - installed-
tubular control arms - air ride tech STRONG ARMS installed -

8 3/8'' valves lookin for a sponsor ANYONE!!!!!????????

bags 2600s all around lookin for a sponsor ANYONE!!!!!???

INTERIOR / EXTERIOR

4 horn train horn kit -check-
street scene mirrors - installed 3/09 -
STAINLESS billet grille - check-
bucket seats out of a vw -lookin great-
nice stereo system installed - when the time comes -

22'' wheels with 255 30 22 tires -mounted up-

well here is basically how i got it.
had a broken windsheild, cab has some small dents, no front end parts on it,a hood and bed with some dings

first i got a new windsheild installed and changed the passenger side fender to a mint gm fender

new passenger side fender, windsheild bumper and chrome grille.

new hood, headlights. still gotta replace the driver side fender

22s with 255 30 22 tire.

after i got it drivable and got plates on it. i went out and drove it a couple hundred miles to check for any motor or running problems. it runs and drives great. best 500 bux i ever spent!

THE FUN STUFF!

MARCH 15th

tearing it back apart to bag and bodydrop it.

suspension pics

current pics as of 1-5-2009

suspension all done, fuel system all done, clutch and brakes all done. first edc installed. stock hood closed. runs, drives.

still needs all the air management, wiring, floor sealed up, interior and exhaust done.
