Re: Project Air Ride
my upper cups are 2' tall with the sd lowers...the 3' tall upper cup wouldn't lay for me. but im also on a 225/30/22. but still that cup is wayyy to tall. measure it from top to bottom

Re: Project Air Ride
They make the cups that big in case you run like a 15 with a low pro tire. It's universal so it will fit a wide range of tire sizes. So in order for you to lay out you might have to cut a couple inches off.

Do you maintain an ambulance fleet? That's what my old man does for a living, so everything gets painted orange or white since he has an abundance of those two colors laying around haha

Re: Project Air Ride
If you're still having trouble laying, take the tie rod ends off the spindleand see if it lays. If it still doesn't, take the bag out and see if it lays... if it does - shorten the upper cups a little at a time until you lay out... the more you cut off, the more lift you loose. I hope that helps.

Re: Project Air Ride
Also, if I remember right the front suspension is at a 2:1 ratio so if you cut off 1" of the cups then you will gain 2" at the wheel. so be careful when cutting and don't cut too much or you will lose lift.

Re: Project Air Ride
you probably wont lay frame in the front, The cup being that long will cause the bag to "bottom out" so the suspension wont be able to go up any further to allow the truck to go lower. If you lay out, and your truck is say 1/2" from laying frame, you can trim 1/4" off each cup and it would allow you to lay frame IF the cup is holding you up.

Re: Project Air Ride
Well that prop valve sure freed up a lot of room under the hood and really gave it a nice clean look. I just hope the brakes still work good I got everything bled out and got good pedel but somthing is telling me I still got air in the lines. I still not sure what to do with the switch/sencer on the top of the prop valve the old one that was on the abs unit doesnt fit and has 2 wires coming off it I noticed on my 95 the valve on that has the same style plugin that I need but only has 1 wire does anyone know what I should do to wire it ? or if I can some how use the old wires ? any help would be gread THANKS

That and i wanted to get it under the wire harness I left the fenders a little high so I could still fit some 20s and not have to cut my fenders off again
