Re: owners of the kp 6link

you might wanna take your shocks off and see how it sits. When I put my 6-link on with my 18's it sat on the ground without shocks. When I put my "stock" shocks back on it sat maybe an inch off. Now that I have lowered shocks I have no problems.

Re: owners of the kp 6link

On Cando's website its the 4095G that should work for it. They are $49 from there but you can just order them from summit racing for $29 the part number is sum-g7726. The summit brand ones are actually doetsch tech shocks.

Re: owners of the kp 6link

just because it says it lays on 18s or 20s doesnt really mean anything its all about what size tire your running. if they sell you a dogbone that lays on 20s do you think it will lay a 275/50/20 i dont think so. tell them what your overall tire diam is and go from there

the dg bone would have to adjust so much to allow for diff wheel sizes that it wouldnt be safe since the whole rear end is held by those dog bones. the threads would tear right out if you extended it too much
weld on bushings at sd are 13 bucks you would need four of them and some tubing so with shipping 82 bucks aint that bad

Re: owners of the kp 6link

I dont know man to be honest, I couldnt tell you the difference in lenghts. But your probably right that its to fine tune your ride. I think I am running 20" dog bones on mine cuz I bought my lift bars/dog bones off somebody here on the forum. He was running 20's or 22's I believe

I'm running a 235-40-18 and have no problem sitting it on the ground. Once I track down my tape measure I'll measure the dog bones if you'd like

How close is your tank? It looks like its touching the ground in that pick. Remember you have 2" above the frame before you hit the bottom of the bed

Yeah my shocks are in the stock location. What about your front lower bars? Do they hit the spring perch when layed out?
